What to expect at Camp
Forget the sterile conference hotel, the mind numbing PowerPoint lectures, the corporate waffle, and the cringe inducing outdoor bonding games. None of it builds real, practical leadership skills.
Elephant Leadership Camps takes a different route: high impact, immersive leadership development that changes how you understand leadership, and how you see yourself as a leader.
We don't want to give too much of the secret away here. Expect the unexpected is probably the best hint we can give you.
Over three unforgettable days, you'll take part in immersive leadership tasks and dynamic team challenges, with continuous coaching and real time feedback throughout. Every decision, every action and every interaction is observed, analysed and debriefed by expert coaches, helping you uncover and strengthen the leadership skills that matter most to you and your unique Leadership Brand.
Think leadership retreat and genuine experiential learning, not another leadership training course.
Location
Camp is normally held at Center Parcs locations in central England, combining easy access with the highest standards of leadership training and accommodation, in the most rural settings we can find.
Camp is mixed-sex, in both coaches and Team, and you'll stay in mixed-sex luxury Woodland Lodges, living and working alongside your Team throughout. We also cater for women-only Teams and women-only Lodges within a mixed-sex Camp, if requested and subject to availability.
Single or shared twin rooms are available .
At Camp, you won't be on this journey alone. There may be up to 30 people at Camp in total, but you'll be part of a much smaller Team of just six like-minded colleagues, living, working and learning. Expect to form close bonds with your Team, built on mutual respect, a shared team ethos and a good few laughs along the way.
Your Team will take on a range of tasks designed to put key leadership skills and team leadership skills on show, and to test them properly. You'll be developing leadership skills you didn't know you had. One task might involve role playing a real workplace scenario, the next something far more creative. What comes after that? Who knows.
Real-time coaching and feedback will be woven into every task, directly aligned with leadership behaviour. Each day will be anchored in reflections and debriefs; key insights and lessons brought together, shared, and reinforced.
Fees & Funding
For most people attending, the cost of Camp is fully funded through their employer's Learning and Development budget. If funding is a genuine barrier for you, get in touch anyway. We'll always try to do what we can to help get you where you need to be.
The Camp Experience costs £1,850 plus VAT, with accommodation packages to suit from £100 per night.
