ELC Summer Scholarship Scheme
Supporting access to leadership development for ALL.
Scholarship Support from Elephant Leadership Camps

Our fees reflect the quality of the Elephant Leadership Camp experience and the incredible impact we can have on careers: premium accommodation, inspiring locations, 24/7 access to top-tier leadership coaches and a jet-pack for your career.

Whilst we would normally expect your employer to fund your place on a Camp from their L&D budget IN FULL, we recognise that this is not always possible and the cost of fees can be a barrier for some.

To support inclusivity and broaden access, we’ve created the ELC Summer Scholarship Scheme. We have set aside a special fund offering grants of £100, £250 or £500 to be allocated against the cost of Camp fees. The grants are only available this summer, to attend Camps in the autumn and winter 25/26.

Who is it for?

The scheme is aimed at early-mid career professionals who are ready to grow as leaders and would HUGELY benefit from the Elephant Leadership Camp experience, but they face financial constraints.

YOU may be eligible to apply for a grant if, for example:

• Your employer can’t sponsor your place fully due to policy or budget limits; particularly this could be in sectors like charities, public health/education, or social enterprise where training budgets are often very limited.

• You are between roles or in professional transition, and would need to self-fund the costs of a Camp without support from an employer's L&D budget.

• There is some other specific reason why you need to be supported with a scholarship grant in order to progress your dream of getting onto a Camp, and you can share with us, in confidence, these details.

What’s expected in return?

In the spirit of shared growth, we ask recipients of scholarship grants to:

• Be flexible on Camp dates and locations
• Support our mission by:
o Providing detailed post-Camp feedback
o Sharing a testimonial or reflection
o Engaging with ELC content on social media, before and after the Camp

How to apply

Email us with a short proposal outlining:

• Why you want to attend a Camp and why financial support is needed in your case
• Your current role, organisation (if applicable), and sector you work in
• The level of scholarship you’re applying for (£100, £200 or £500)
• How you’ll help grow the ELC community through engagement or advocacy

You may also include a CV or LinkedIn profile for context.

Please note
• Applications are reviewed case-by-case by the senior team
• All decisions are final
• Funds are strctly limited; not all applications will be successful or awarded in full
• The scheme may close at any time but is anyway closing by the end of the summer

We’re committed to opening up leadership opportunities to all those with potential, regardless of background. If you’re ready to lead and maybe just need a little support to get started, we warmly encourage you to apply.
